Message Pro Overview

With Message Pro, you can send a text message from and to a team’s primary phone number, which all assigned team members will receive. NextivaONE displays all incoming and outgoing team messages, providing complete visibility on who sent the text and which team member replied. 

Setting up Message Pro

To set up, click Teams from the NextOS admin home page. 

Click Create Team to make a new team, or select Messaging from the Actions drop-down menu to enable Team Messaging on an existing team. For more information on teams, click here

A phone number must be assigned to the team to enable team text messaging.

You can also choose to display or not to display the user’s first name and last initial when messages are sent from this team. 

Select the users you want to enable team text messaging for, then click Save

 

Sending and responding

After enabling team messaging, you can view all the conversations using your team’s primary phone number in NextivaONE under the Messaging tab. 

To view all team messages, simply click on the team phone number. You can also respond directly from this view by opening the conversation and typing your message in the space provided.

To send a message from your team’s phone number, select Send a message from the top right menu. Enter the recipient’s name or number (maximum of ten recipients), and type in your message. 

Click the ellipses to the left and select the number you want to send the message from. Hit enter to send.
