Nextiva Contact Center: Group Numbers

The Group Numbers feature allows you to organize campaign addresses into a folder. This way, all the DIDs in a campaign can be grouped together in one place.  

Creating Group Numbers 

Search for the Group Numbers icon on the options menu. Click Plus (+) and fill out the required information under each tab. Click Save when done.

The name of the group.

The description of the group. 

Number Pick Strategy Tab 

The number-picking strategy is associated with a State DID option in the campaign. When necessary to rotate through the numbers in a list, a group number-picking strategy will specify which numbers get selected first. 

 It is possible to present numbers on 

  • An area code level – numbers with the same area code as the number you dial. 
  • A state-level – numbers with the same state code as the number you dial. 
  • A random strategy – a random number will be picked to be presented. This is the default if there is no matching numbers to the number that is being dialed.

The Numbers tab has the list of numbers associated with the group.
