Two transfer options are available during an active call:
- A warm transfer (attended) allows Users to speak privately with the receiving party before transferring the call. A warm transfer also confirms the availability of the receiving party.
- A blind transfer (unattended) allows Users to send calls to an alternate extension or phone number without waiting for an answer or confirming the availability of the receiving party.
Transfer Button and Soft Keys on the Poly VVX 450 Phone
To Warm Transfer a Call:
- During an active call, press the Transfer button.
- Dial the phone number or extension.
- After the receiving party answers the call, press the Transfer button or simply hang up.
To Blind Transfer a Call:
- During an active call, press the BlindX soft key.
NOTE: Soft keys perform various functions, as opposed to buttons that are associated with a single fixed function. Soft key labels change to reflect the available functions based on the screen displayed.
- Dial the phone number or extension.
- Press the Enter soft key.
