As pioneers in the cloud-communications arena, we are always working diligently on new technologies to accelerate business for our customers. We launched NextOS, the highly anticipated all-in-one communications solution. We upheld our commitment to education with our annual conference, NextCon, and continued to devote ourselves to providing Amazing Service, all of which culminated in widespread press coverage, unprecedented hiring, and significant charitable contributions.

Let’s take a look:

NextOS

NextOS, the future of Nextiva’s business communications services, was revealed at NextCon. Interactive demos and hands-on learning opportunities were available to attendees. Tomas Gorny introduced the platform in his keynote speech, offering tips for better customer experiences and streamlined communications. He said “VoIP is to Nextiva as books were to Amazon.”

A set of Nextiva customers is now using NextOS in beta, and we’re excited to launch the product in 2018.

In addition, Nextiva was recognized as an Aragon Research Hot Vendor in 2017, and was recently profiled in a Frost & Sullivan report to help professionals in their search for a business phone service. This is all thanks to our unwavering commitment to creating the best solutions in cloud-based communications.

NextCon

With more than 800 attendees, including Nextiva customers, partners, and entrepreneurs from across the country, NextCon 2017 was a smashing success. Over the course of three days we saw professionals become customer engagement masters and learn valuable skills to help boost their bottom lines. NextCon attendees were treated to a private Bret Michaels concert, and the conference itself benefitted Bret Michaels’ Life Rocks Foundation.

Nextiva Cares

2017 was a big year for Nextiva Cares. Each month, Nextiva partners with a local non-profit organization whereby employees donate their time, skills, and/or financial contributions. This year we partnered with our local Saint Mary’s Food Bank, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, the Arizona Humane Society, the ALS foundation, and many others. At NextCon, we were able to raise $25,220 for Bret Michaels’ Life Rocks Foundation.

It was also our third year supporting the ALS Association Arizona Chapter and Toys for Tots. 2017 was Nextiva’s first year supporting Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS) to help the homeless community in Phoenix.

Team Growth and Nextiva’s Amazing Culture

Nextiva’s team went from 600 to more than 750 team members in this year alone. In the coming months we aim to double the size of some teams as we expand.

This year was full of fun events and surprises for our team, including the Amazing Bowl, our annual flag football tournament. We celebrated our 9th successful year in business with Spirit Week, enjoyed a private screening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and attended the Great Nextiva Picnic with family and friends. In October, we held our annual company party to honor our top employees and dance the night away.
