Nextiva, Inc. (www.nextiva.com), one of the nations' leading business VoIP providers, has announced that they've renewed their participation in Carbonfund.org's CarbonFree® partner program. The partnership represents a national movement of "green" eco-conscious businesses and organizations leading the fight against global warming. Nextiva is proud to continue its tradition of being the environmental leader in the small business communications industry.
Yaniv Masjedi of Nextiva said he's thrilled to be involved with the CarbonFree® program.
"In addition to providing communications solutions to small businesses nationwide, Nextiva is also engaged in combating climate change," Masjedi said. "Environmental stewardship is one of our core values."
This is Nextiva's third consecutive year being a part of the program. CarbonFree® partners commit to reducing their CO2 footprint and looking to clean, renewable energy as the future of business.
Carbonfund.org's CarbonFree® partner program supports verified renewable energy, energy efficiency, and reforestation projects in the U.S. and abroad to reduce CO2 pollution and help hasten the transition to a clean energy future.
By formally renewing their CarbonFree® partnership, Nextiva hopes to further promote and enhance their company's commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness. Since joining Carbonfund.org in 2009, Nextiva has created an internal recycling program, assigned Green Team Members in each department, and utilizes eco-effective technology in its data centers. Nextiva helps their clients become more eco-friendly by offering a paperless fax service called vFAX.
A representative from Carbonfund.org said more businesses should follow in Nextiva's (carbon-reduced) footprints.
"By committing to reducing their carbon emissions and implementing eco-friendly programs, Nextiva has proved itself as a leader environmentally friendly companies," said Ivan Chan of Carbonfund.org. "We wish we saw more businesses taking such a proactive approach to saving the planet."
